crows
Imagine, if you will, that crows are portents of impending evil. Their presence is a sure sign that something awful is going to happen to you or someone you care about. Would you rather see the crow or be blithely unaware until the actual tragedy befalls you?

Be unawares. Then I can lean on my natural instincts and superwoman powers to kick in a save me... where I would probably just be scared an sheepish the other way around.
Crowless. Otherwise I would work myself up into a state. I'd rather enjoy life up until the moment of doom. :)
