Fortitude

I think that Greek plays are great. I read Antigone for my political heritage class. It's a great social commentary applicable today. Then, I tried reading Aristophanes' The Frogs at work, but I was working...so that made it a little difficult. There were all of these vague allusions that I wasn't sure I was getting. I'm sure if I read it without any distractions it'd make more sense. Right now I'm about to delve into The Republic. I've tried on many occasions, but it just doesn't work. It doesn't excite me for some reason. Over the break I was supposedly going to read Walden. But unfortunately it didn't excite me either. Like, I opened it at random and I found a little(...actually it was like a page long) tidbit that was incredibly insightful, but as far as reading it cover to cover...it involves more fortitude than I'm willing to give it.
